Thank you to everybody who visited and bought stuff from our Project Dollicessories booth at the ManikaManila Tiangge 2013! It was my first time to mingle in the local BJD community, and I have to say, I had a lot of fun. I was lucky enough to get a chance to browse the other booths near the end of the event and look at all the gorgerous dolls, displays, and products. I also met a lot of new people passionate about the hobby. All in all, it was a great experience, from when Kanis approached me to start the project to the actual event itself. I had never done this sort of thing before, so experimenting and figuring out how to make functional prototypes was a fulfilling challenge. I hope I can participate again if there is a next time, because I’ve found that making tiny accessories for people’s dolls makes me happy. <3 Maybe I can afford a doll of my own someday? :)
Our headphones were our best-seller, and we still have a few left over along with our bracelets and headbands. If you’re interested in buying either a pre-made one or commissioning a custom headphone for your doll, please contact me!
P.S. I do art commissions of dolls, too. See the portrait I did of Kanis’ BJD, Trish, above. :) I may be able to offer a small discount to local clients. We can work something out~
Thank you to ManikaManila Mod Nix de Pano of DollStars for the photos! <3 And a personal thank you to my partner in life, Aiken Garcia, for helping me finish our headphones. You should all check out his Art Commission Info and ask him to bring your ideas to life! ;3
